Still Life in Red and Green

Often a new prop will spark an entire series of paintings; such is the case with this red jug. I love not only the color but also the clean lines and the rather unusual height to width ratio. A few of my galleries, as well as a good number of collectors, have requested more "red" work, so this jug came along at just the right time.
