Blue Jug

Finding cherries at this time of year was an unexpected gift! Here the blue jug and dark background serve to anchor the saturated colors of the fruit. I am aware that my recent work has come to include more instances of hot color... I'm not sure if this trend will continue, or if it is simply my response to February's cold & dreary days.
