Peach Romance
(18" x 24" oil on canvas)
My crisp apple wedges and sharp-edged shells of the past few weeks have left me anxious for a change. This piece deals with the characteristic furry skin of a peach and how it's lovely softness can influence other objects. Here diffused light creates a soft atmosphere where edges melt and I am left with "romance".
This painting is available at Gallery Gevik, Toronto, Ontario, http://www.gevik.com.
