Tea, Leaves and Lemon
(24" x 30" oil on canvas)
This painting is about the juxtaposition of man-made and organic objects. My goal here is to create a harmonious atmosphere where disparate objects can easily coexist. One of the devices I use to achieve this goal is to compose a situation where the color of one object, the lemon, is reflected onto a neighbouring object, the stack of cups.
This painting is available at Agnes Bugera Gallery, Edmonton, Alberta http://www.agnesbugeragallery.com.
